T
& C Cocktail 5"x15"x15"
I want to lure him/them into my
angry red bowl
where I choked on the horror of the stories that were told
of cruelty and selfishness,
injustice of the courts.
The price of such inhumanity we truly cannot afford.
It takes a thoughtful village to raise a conscious child.
It takes each and every one of us to save a world that’s been defiled.
The criminals and the jurors, the lawyer and the judge,
those that make me angriest, I would suspend my grudge.
I would invite them all to feed from the intensity of my bowl
to jolt the ignorance and the cruelty
out of his/their empty soul.
For in the deepest red is where they must eat
on a cocktail of tuna and compassion, a most divine treat,
the essence, really, of humanity’s hope
as it seeps into his/their veins it can sever hatred’s rope.
It can open up awareness, abundant solutions that truly can
embrace the co-existence of all life in harmony with man.
